By Muhammad Fareez Iskandar Bin Osman
Two buzzing bees led me here,
The sky; once a deep dark cave,
Bold as fruity old beer,
But in this garden,
The sky; creamy blue and clear,
Up above the ground I joyfully cheer,
A curly-brown-furred fox leers from afar,
Rudy – bearer of unforeseeable scar.
A mango fell from the tree,
Only Newton wasn’t in this story,
That’s bizarre – said Rudy,
Up the hill floral blooms,
Peculiar scent lights the gloom,
15 stalks of red roses; then 3 of pink,
18 in total, Einstein suggests,
Shakespeare thinks it’s for the best.
Double zero full of mystery,
Starring deep in Rudy’s eyes,
Saw a playful wolf in disguise, I said Rudy,
Rudy, please take these flowers,
For we couldn’t be lovers,
Let me be your companion; your truest friend,
Through drought; winter and rain,
Oh, In this Garden in April,
Four eternity I would remain.
